Burger bro started its life in Christchurch cathedral square in a trailer, back then we were called Mama Kay’s, and our philosophy was simple, just make the best possible handmade burgers. Three years later we end up in Hamilton and lease a 5m2 hole in the wall in Victoria st, clear it out, renovate, and change our name to Burger Bro. After 16 months of growing success we outgrew our hole in the wall and moved a few doors down, big renovation, some blood sweat, and tears we opened our new restaurant, it’s been quite a journey but very rewarding, and our philosophy hasn’t changed.
