The impressive brick and concrete building we work out of is the old Eltham Courthouse, opened in 1908 by then Prime Minister, Sir Joseph Ward. It was purchased by this organisation after closure by the Department of Justice in 1951 and is now classified as an Historic Place.

We recently (winter 2019) renovated and earthquake strengthened our reception, retail and consultation area in the old historic courthouse building and added an extra consultation room to allow for the increasing amount of companion animal work we are doing.
