Our company started off in the late 1960s as an agricultural contracting, sand processing, and supply business. A few years later, still in the early 1970s, we started our Transport business which was then followed by Livestock transport in 2000 and Logging in 2013. It’s thanks to a lot of determination and hard work that we’ve managed to grow, thrive, and improve our business and it’s mainly thanks to our people, that, despite strong competition and narrow margins, the Stan Semenoff Group is still going strong to this day. Today we’re operating three transport businesses; Bulk, Livestock and Logging and run the Kamo Scoria quarry, a sand quarry in Ruakaka and the Tomarata Sand plant near Wellsford. We also operate a bulk warehousing business at Marsden Point known as NBL – Northland Bulk Logistics and the Marsden Point Weighbridge. We’re currently employing well over 100 staff and it’s thanks to our skilled and dedicated employees that our business has been growing over the many years we have been in business and that it is still going strong to this day.
