Carpentry South Limited was established in 2003, they have the pleasure of building a wide range of projects throughout Southland & Central Otago. Having starting out as a farm servicing orientated business, we have now expanded to mainly specialize in high end architectural housing and light commercial work. However we are conscious of not limiting ourselves to a niche market so have also completed projects for the Department of Conservation, Ministry of Education, Veterinary clinics, Church Organisations and still remain active in the farm servicing sector.

Muirs Radiators was established in 1952 by Bert Muir and since then has had a proud history of quality and workmanship, innovation, and sustainable work practices. The first workshop was established behind Bert’s house and since then the business has grown to where the premises are much larger, now located at 30 Gorton Street, Gore. Malcolm has been with the business for almost 30 years and has seen it evolve from a small radiator repair business to one which not only repairs but builds and supplies a wide variety of necessary radiator products for heavy vehicle and mining equipment such as: Air coolers Hoses Heaters

Welcome to SGT Dan Stockfoods, manufacturers of quality stockfoods, situated in the historic Creamoata building (formerly Flemings) in Gore. For many years the iconic figure of ‘SGT Dan’ was the trademark of Creamoata, a porridge manufactured and distributed from Gore by the entrepreneurial Fleming family. The Flemings built a large and impressive processing plant on a Gorton Street site for several reasons. One of these was its proximity to the main South Island railway line - the Flemings had their own spur that is still there today.
