Counselor Hamilton

Courage Counselling is dedicated to helping you strengthen your relationships, regardless of the issue, or the size of the issue. I help you both find a way forward and together we look for ways you can go-on in the relationship to a better future together. I specialise in providing psychotherapy for children and adolescents of all ages.  When the relationship gets stuck, stopped or de-railed, I help you to explore ways to go-on in the relationship. MA Clinical and Health Psychology, MSc Integrative Psychotherapy IAMFT . RI I help when there is conflict between you and communication is challenging. PBANZ Registered Psychotherapist I also offer some after hours appointments. Courage Counselling can help you build strong relationships to help you get through. 

I have lived in Hamilton for over 30 years and I am married with two grown up children. I hold a Bachelor of Social Sciences Applied in Counselling. It is a job I love and feel fortunate to have people trust me with their challenges and let me be alongside them as they achieve their goals. About me I have always been actively involved in community organisations. I volunteered with Hospice supporting families for 10 years and volunteering at Lifeline, I have completed in ASIST Training (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training). I know the impact of dealing with mental illness in a family and find supporting families members with this challenge rewarding.
